The Dreadful Economy

I've never been affected by a bad economy....until now. The last time things were this bad, I wasn't even alive! And the last time things were tough for the country in general, I wasn't out on my own paying for everything myself!
I don't know about you, but I hate worrying about money. And it's all I seem to do lately! Everyone says that your twenties are for "living it up," but I'm pinching pennies over here! So I guess this is just me venting on the status of the American economy. Ughhh. Come On Obama!!!!!

Summer 'Oh-8'

This last summer was AMAZING! I graduated college and worked as a bartender and server. It was my "last hoorah" before entering adulthood. Throughout the summer, I took trips with friends and family to Mexico (graduation cruise with Ash!), Las Vegas (Ash's Bachelorette party!!), Hawaii (Ash's wedding), Maine (Family wedding), Havasu (Crazy weekend!!), and Lodi (2 more of my closest friends' weddings!) I lived a pretty relaxed life and was able to spend most of my time with friends.

Needless to say, I was a bridesmaid three times this summer. (And I have two more weddings coming up!) I've never felt luckier to have amazing friends, and I wish my girlfriends and their husbands all the hapiness life has to offer.

As summer began to wind down, I became nervous about finding a real J-O-B. God definitely tested my patience and ultimately blessed me with a better job than I had ever envisioned for myself. It really is true that He can offer us things we haven't even dreamed of. So in October, my summer ended and I moved to Newport Beach to begin work as an event coordinator.
